Objectifying Intelligence
Sometimes I wonder what people mean when they think someone is “really smart.” Do they mean this individual is well-read? Is the person generally knowledgeable in a wide breadth of topics? Is there a particular eloquence in his or her pattern of speech? Is it the realization of a greater depth to the person? Does extreme competence in manual tasks define intelligence? I don’t know. IQ is probably the most common measure of intelligence, but it is far from a perfect system. P

BSC Theatre Dazzles with Set Design and Vocals in “Frozen: The Musical”
I attended the first showing of the Bismarck State College Theatre Department’s production of “Frozen: The Musical.” Last year, I had watched their last performance of “Anastasia” in the Sidney J. Student Government Goes on a D.C. Adventure

While many students either returned home or relaxed alone in the dorms during spring break, members of the Bismarck State College Student Government Association got the chance to travel to the United States capital for the annual American Student Association of Community Colleges (ASACC) national student advocacy conference.
