Meet Ryan Berndt: From Ryan and Dave's

Alumni Spotlight - The co-owners pose in front of their State Street location.

Located right off of I-29 on state street, Ryan and Dave’s Fuel and Auto Spa is located. The business is owned by Bismarck State College Alumnus Ryan Berndt.

Berndt attended BSC during the class of 1998 and graduated with an Agriculture Business degree. While attending, Ryan started working as a gas station attendant. With years of dedication he became responsible for multiple locations. This eventually led to an opportunity for him to become co-owner of his own store.

“It may not happen overnight, but keep trying. And eventually one day it’ll happen,” Berndt said, giving a piece of advice he has for students seeking a business owner route.

During his educational journey, he found the history classes were well taught and fascinating, encouraging him to take all the history classes the school had to offer. He said if he didn’t end up taking the gas station route he probably would have been a history teacher.

Ryan remains supportive of people continuing education and hopes to see his daughters continue their education at BSC.
