Figments of Imagination is the Bismarck State College student literary arts magazine.

The Figments staff solicits entries, develops a theme, edits and prepares submissions and designs the pages.

 

They work with a printer to determine publication requirements and produce the final product.

 

To help cover printing costs, the staff writes a grant and sometimes host fundraisers.

​

Students, faculty, and staff are all encouraged to submit their creative works for the magazine. Submissions open each spring.
