A Shameless Plug and a Crochet Update

Hello y’all.

The two weeks since the last issue has been busy busy busy. Kayla, Kerstin, and I have worked plenty of hours putting together and publishing 88.4, which is now in your hands.

October is gearing up to be an exciting month with The Content Creators Summit happening on Oct. 9. There will be professionals from the communication field and a special keynote speaker. And potentially a student-led class taught by Mystic Media.

Also subscribe to our newsletter. It comes out every first day of the month and is written by yours truly. Go to our website to subscribe. This is where you can find behind the scenes content and the monthly photography contest. And possibly a picture of JJ Maybank which is sure to lighten anyone’s day.

Crochet update. I have four blocks out of 16, and I have about 20 granny squares to make more blocks. I changed my mind and made another hexagon sweater instead of a mesh one. It is about half done. The other hexagon sweater is almost complete. I just have to sew the sleeves.

I hope everyone is enjoying the start of fall and you will see me next issue. Maybe in a crocheted sweater.
