Dinner Time on Campus - One meal provided for students at Bismarck State College

Food options at Bismarck StateCollege are limited in variety. Students and staff can choose between the marketplace to get cafeteria food or hit up the coffee shops to grab a quick bite. Outside of these two food sources, everything else is a trip off campus.

How does BSC cafeteria food compare to the food served to the incarcerated people in prison?

There are some good dishes served on campus. The Mystic Bowl is one of the most popular and draws the biggest lines. The shrimp burger is one dish I really like.

Aside from that, I avoided the baked salmon because it just did not look very appetizing. Instead, I grabbed the BSC version of a Big Mac. Well, it was just a hamburger with special sauce on it.

The items I have just listed are some of the main courses and specials, but those eating at the Marketplace can get chicken, sub sandwiches, pizza, or salad any day of the week. It is common to see a sandwich line going to the entry door of the serving area. Drink options are not limited at all. There is a whole section of pop, coffee, and other liquids.

Overall, the food provided by BSC is 3.5 out of 5. This score takes into account the quality of food and price. Most students can find better deals off campus. On most days, I do find the food of the Mystic Marketplace to be worth buying.
